In addition to a range of dance cardio classes, OBE offers 22 live classes daily and a full library of 5000+ on-demand workouts that include HIIT, barre, Pilates, yoga, and even foam rolling. Workouts are just 28 minutes each but get the job done — or you can mix and match for a longer workout with 10 minute express classes too. From Beachbody on Demand comes CIZE, the dance exercise program from superstar trainer Shaun T, who is also the creator of the mega-popular dance based Hip Hop Abs and Insanity workout series. Shaun T breaks down every move, step-by-step, so anyone can do it, with his usual off the charts energy and inspiration. If you want to add more than dance to your home fitness routine, Beachbody on Demand offers some of the most popular online workouts that include Charlene Johnson’s PIYO, Tony Hortons’s P90x series, and Autumn Calabreses’ 21 Day Fix, among many others, in addition to all of Shaun T’s workouts.

 

BALLET WORKOUTS

 
TRAIN LIKE A BALLERINA

Created by former professional Ballerina turned master trainer, Louisa Paterson, the TLB method began as a program to aid professional dancers, but has transformed into a fitness program for all levels that is now available to anyone on RELEVE. The workouts feature a mix of mat work and floor barre along with ballet movements, stretches, cardio, and weight training designed to shape, elongate, and strengthen not just a ballerina body, but every body. You can find our favorite 31 Days of Fitness ABT principal ballerina Katie Boren and her workouts on the app too!

TILER PECK

Tiler Peck is a principal dancer at the New York City Ballet. When the pandemic closed dance studios, she started live streaming her workouts daily on Instagram in #turnitoutwithtiler. From her family’s home in Bakersfield, California, Peck uses their kitchen island counter for an hour-long class of barre, floor, and pointe work. Classes are on IGLive Tuesday and Thursday at 10am PST. For some added inspiration, Peck’s own story deserves a mention. After a near career ending neck injury, she battled her way back to appear in Swan Lake last February, right before the pandemic put a hold on the NYCB season.

ISABELLA BOYLSTON

Isabella Boylston is a principal dancer at American Ballet Theatre in NYC and Director of Ballet Sun Valley in Sun Valley, Idaho, where she is from. Like Tiler Peck, she too began sharing ballet and barre workouts last spring on Instagram from her home, a more modern NYC setting, but still with a playful approach and unexpected hip hop soundtrack to match! We have to give a shout out to her styling too. Boylston is often joined by her friend and fellow ABT principal dancer, James B Whiteside.

Learn moves, skills, and full routines in a range of genres like Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Popping, Krump, Breaking, and many more! STEEZY video controls let you see the moves and routine from multiple angles, switch views, loop, and control speed. Whether you’re a beginner just starting out, or an advanced dancer looking for in-depth training, you will soon be the hottest thing on the dance floor!

BOSS FAMILY WORKOUT

It’s a family affair for professional dancers Allison Holker and husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss, along with their kids, when they hit the virtual dance floor on Instagram and TikTok for their Boss Family Workout. Both Allison and tWitch (in-house DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show), were discovered on So You Think You Can Dance, and Allison later went on to Dancing With The Stars. They started doing family groove sessions in their living room during quarantine, and soon decided to invite us all in for their “Groovealongs”, set to a hot playlist of course! No prior dance experience is needed. Just follow along and have fun!

JANELLE GINESTRA

With 1.7 million TikTok followers and hundreds of thousands across other platforms like Instagram and YouTube, Janelle Ginestra and her Naughty Girl Fitness routines have been heating up social media — none more so than her Cardi B inspired WAP dance workout which garnered 17.8 million views on TikTok! “I wanted to create a mix of badass workouts dripping with the element of fun,” professional choreographer Ginestra recently told The New York Post of her certifiably sexy classes. Get ready to twerk it and work it in her 20-minute training sessions, all of which are available on DanceTutorials.TV.
 

THE FITNESS MARSHALL

Caleb Marshall, a.k.a. The Fitness Marshall, is a YouTube phenomenon with over 3 million followers! With his over the top personality, and single song routines from unexpected locations (like the hiking trails of LA), The Fitness Marshall is accompanied by two sidekicks who do a modified version anyone can follow. Choreographing your favorite pop hits from artists like Dua Lipa, Brittany Spears, Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello, it’s a guaranteed sing-along too. Each video is labeled with a warm-up, main workout, or cool down tag so you can customize and create your own dance workout.
