Brazilian content creator Gabrielle Figueiredo has built an international following through a distinctive aesthetic that blends fashion, sport, beauty, and lifestyle. Married to Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães — one of the stars of both the Premier League and the Brazilian National Team — she offers her audience a unique glimpse into life inside one of the world’s most passionate sporting cultures. As Brazil begins its journey toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Gabrielle, known to her followers simply as Gabi, has the world’s attention.
Gabi has become a star in her own right. Through a mix of behind-the-scenes family moments and match-day content, she has cultivated a highly engaged community drawn to both her authenticity and her fashion-forward approach to football culture. Together, she and Gabriel are raising their four-year-old daughter while balancing life in the spotlight.
Gabi perfectly embodies the STYLE of SPORT ethos, celebrating the intersection of sport and fashion. Glamorous and sexy, but sporty and fun, she has become particularly known for her popular Instagram series, Getting Ready with Gabi, where she shares her match-day looks. Mixing Arsenal gear with her own cool street style — often anchored by a custom Arsenal leather biker jacket — she has transformed football fashion into a signature personal brand.
I met Gabi last week on a shoot for Brazilian beauty brand Costa Brazil, with whom she has partnered for the World Cup. The collaboration grew out of a shared appreciation for their Brazilian culture and identity. The capsule collection includes a limited-edition T-shirt, photographed here, as well as a special edition of Costa Brazil’s signature Kaya Jungle Firming Body Oil. Together, the pieces celebrate the excitement and pride surrounding the 2026 World Cup.
Art directing the shoot, when Gabi arrived on set, I asked if she played soccer. “No,” she laughed. “Can you fake it?”, I asked. “Yes”, she smiled. And she certainly did, kicking, dribbling, and juggling the ball like a pro, channeling her husband’s skills with her own athleticism, energy, and infectious smile.
While Gabi doesn’t play soccer herself, fitness is an important part of her life. Strength training and Pilates are her workouts of choice, and as the wife of a professional athlete, she plays an active role in supporting her family’s healthy lifestyle. Yet despite the demands of life alongside one of football’s biggest stars, she has successfully built a thriving career and personal brand of her own.

When you’re married to such a big star, how do you maintain your own identity? Is it difficult balancing that with being a supportive spouse?
In the beginning it was hard. It is part of who I am, but I didn’t want to be reduced to just that. I started creating content showing who I am through how I dress, but also through motherhood and my everyday life. Showing who I am behind the scenes made people realize there’s more to me. I’m behind him, but I have my own voice. I have my own personality, my own values, my own achievements, my own brand—and I’m very proud of that.”
Tell us how your fashion style evolved. It’s very STYLE of SPORT!
When I started going to the games, I realized it could be an opportunity to express my style and personality. I think it really started with football and creating something special for match day. People are always asking, ‘What are you going to wear?’ and ‘What’s the match-day outfit?’ There’s a lot of pressure now, but I love it.”
Which leads to the big question: What are you going to wear to the World Cup?
I’m receiving so many messages asking that. What are you going to wear to the first game? I have some outfits planned, but you never know what the weather will be like. The leather jackets I’ll probably save for the evening matches. For the first game, I want to show my style but still be comfortable on the world’s biggest stage.
What is it like to have your husband playing in the World Cup and to experience it together as a family?
It’s a dream for all of us. It’s our first World Cup—and our daughter’s first as well. During the 2022 World Cup, Gabriel was injured and devastated not to be playing for Brazil. We watched from home with our family and felt like he should have been there. Now it’s a dream come true. It’s something we’re living together. It’s hard to put into words. It’s such a special moment.
